I am a 23-year-old South African from Port Elizabeth originally, but studying at university in Pretoria (BVScIII, aka Veterinary Science) who makes crosswords in his spare time as a hobby, and have been doing so since I was quite young. Also an avid solver, growing up with the local "You" Magazine crossword. Since discovered the much higher quality American puzzles and solve: NYT, LAT and CrossSynergy puzzles daily, as well as Brendan Emmett Quigley's blog puzzles, some of the constructors here at Bestcrosswords and a few of the weeklies too.. I have had published puzzles in Universal, USA Today, The LAT, and the Onderstepoort Borborygmi.
